Dr. Hira Mubeen awarded with OIC-COMSTECH Research Grant

ORIC is pleased to announce that Dr. Hira Mubeen, Department of Biotechnology, Genetics and Bioinformatics, University of the Central Punjab, has been awarded the COMSTECH Research Grant for Young Women Researchers.
Under this prestigious program, COMSTECH has approved a USD 5,000 research grant to support her project titled:
“Development of Low-Cost Paper-Based Microfluidic Chip for Early Detection of Pneumonia via Urinary Biomarkers in Humans.”
The grant will facilitate the development of innovative, low-cost diagnostic solutions aimed at improving early detection and clinical outcomes. The initiative reflects UCP’s continued commitment to promoting high-impact research and supporting emerging women scientists.
