The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore, organized a meeting on 22 October 2026 with Mr. Shoaib Ahmad, CEO of AI Ponics, Lahore, to explore potential research collaboration in hydroponics and sustainable agriculture.
The meeting was attended by Worthy Pro-Rector Dr. Hammad Naveed, Director ORIC Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Dr. Muhammad Riaz, Associate Professor of Chemistry, and the ORIC team.
Discussions focused on joint hydroponics research and the potential conversion of biogas digestate into biofertilizer to promote sustainable farming practices and a circular agricultural economy.
