Dr. Muhammad Babur is working as an Associate Professor in Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Central Punjab. His qualifications include B.Sc. Civil Engineering from UET Lahore, M.Sc. Hydropower Engineering from Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Engineering UET Lahore, Ph.D. Water Engineering and Management from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand and post-doctrate, Water Engineering and Management from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand.
Dr. Babur has worked with some of the best professionals in the field of climate change impact adaptation and mitigation. He had the opportunity to work on research projects of National and International repute within Pakistan, United Kingdom, Japan, and Thailand. Besides teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students within and outside the country, he was also involved in research at the Post-Graduate level in different countries. His research interests include Climate and Landuse Change, Transboundary Water Issues, Hydrology, Hydropower, Sedimentology, Glaciology and Water Engineering and Management.
