Dr. Muhammad Zaman is currently serving as Associate Professor and Coordinator of Graduate and Postgraduate Programs at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore, Pakistan, where he has been a faculty member since May 2019. Prior to joining UCP, he served at the Faculty of Pharmacy, The University of Lahore, from July 2011 to May 2019.
He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, in 2018. Dr. Zaman has an extensive research background, with over 130 publications in reputable national and international journals. He has successfully supervised more than 80 M.Phil and 5 Ph.D. research projects.
His primary research interests include formulation development and dosage form design, drug delivery systems, nanotechnology, polymer modification, pharmaceutical analysis, and pharmacokinetic and pre-clinical studies.
In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Zaman also serves as a Consultant for Research and Development (R&D) in various pharmaceutical industries and clinical research organizations, providing expert guidance in new formulation development and stability enhancement of existing products, data analysis and scientific writings.
