Dr. Tahira Shujah
- Designation: Assistant Professor
- Department: Physics
- Faculty: FOST
Dr. Tahira Shujah, received her PhD degree in Physics (Nano Science and Nanotechnology) from Govt. College University Lahore in 2019. Her work focuses on the use of vapor deposition techniques (chemical vapor deposition, atomic layer deposition) for synthesis of nanostructured and thin film materials for use in energy and gas sensing applications. She has experience of working in clean room and has collaborated with academic groups at university college London (UCL), UK and National Centre for Physics (NCP), Islamabad on programs in materials synthesis, characterization and functional testing. She also has worked with industrial partner, ALPHASENSE UK, to exploit vapor synthesis methods for the manufacture of commercially relevant products. She has over five years teaching experience at graduate and post graduate level with a Strong philosophy of teaching, and knowledge of many different methods to motivate students to develop their expertise in specific areas.
