Mr. Muhammad Zulkifl Hasan is a distinguished academic and researcher with over 15 years of experience in higher education. Currently, he is a Principal Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Central Punjab, Pakistan, and a Ph.D. candidate at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), specializing in IoT Security.
He holds an MS in Computer Networking and Security (with Commendation) from the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and a BS in Telecommunication Engineering from UMT, Pakistan. Mr. Hasan has taught a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Information Security, Cloud Computing, AI, and more at renowned institutions including NCBA&E, LGU, and NUST-NIPCONS.
He has held several academic leadership roles, including Head of Department, contributing to curriculum design and academic governance. He is deeply involved in student development through project supervision and innovation mentoring.
Mr. Hasan holds over 1,900 international certifications in IT, cybersecurity, AI, and cloud platforms. As an AWS Educator Ambassador, he delivers cloud education across multiple universities. His research portfolio includes publications in top-tier journals like IEEE Access, PLOS ONE, and Springer, with an h-index of 7 and 199+ citations.
He serves as a peer reviewer and editorial board member for IEEE, Elsevier, MDPI, and more. A Senior Member of IEEE and member of BCS and IAENG, Mr. Hasan also contributes to national innovation through projects funded by Ignite Pakistan, mentoring startups in IoT and cybersecurity.
